Calling all Independent Newsagents;.
On Monday November 16th 2009 News International decided to reduce the retailer’s profit margin by 1.2p per copy to 6.96p, and as it appears the National Federation of Retail Newsagents (NFRN) have their backs against the wall over advising its members of any collective action, I have been asked to introduce a petition for Retailers to register their complaint of their total dissatisfaction of their livelihoods being threatened by this ruthless action by a Publisher, which undoubtedly could lead to catastrophic collapse of a number of news retailers.
To register your vote against News International who are taking eight million pounds a year from newsagent’s profits, I strongly urge all retailers who are extremely concerned of the implications this could cause their business to register,
